Blessing of Children – 2022

The blessing of children took place at the Bible Way Church on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Ten church families expressed their desire to bless their little children. The blessing of children is an important event both, for the church, as well as for young families. Every year, the church blesses the children following the example of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In conclusion, young families received congratulations and small gifts.

” But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. ” (Luke 18:16; Mark 10:14; Matt. 19:14).

Seminar “Healing of wounds”

On March 5, 2022 in the Bible Way church a seminar was held on “Healing of wounds” which was led by Anatoly Dmitruk, the church pastor. The seminar was held from 11am to 6pm. The purpose of the seminar was to prepare the church and families for the disasters that are threatening the whole Earth. The seminar was followed with coffee/tea and a delicious lunch. At the end of the seminar there was a prayer for those who need healing of spiritual wounds.

Funeral of Sharunas Skabeikis

On Monday, February 14, 2022, the funeral of Sharunas Skabeikis took place. The brother was buried in the Karveliškės cemetery. Sharunas was undergoing a rehabilitation and adaptation program at the rehabilitation center of Gennady and Tatiana. He made a covenant with God in the Bible way church and reconciled with the Lord. He died due to a cardiac failure. The Bible Way Church expresses its condolences to the relatives and friends of Sharunas. We hope that the brother is with the Lord.

The voice of the bride and groom sounded again in the Bible Way Church! On February 13, 2022, Andrius Danilyavichus proposed to Maria Baranovskaya. Sister is from the Rising Light Church. The marriage union between the Biblical Way and Rising Light churches has already been repeated twice. During this period, our churches became very close and many found new friends. We congratulate our young couple and wish God’s blessing in preparation for the wedding.

Olga was mother of Alla Lipnevich. She left a daughter and grandchildren. The Bible Way Church expresses condolences to Sister Alla and her family. Indian Ministry Sponsors Evening – 2021

The Bible Way Church hosted a sponsors evening of Indian ministry on December 28 of 2021. Valery Tumkevich represents the Indian ministry in Lithuania and is responsible for this work. The financial report of the Indian ministry was presented at the end of the outgoing year. Yakov Marineli, the founder and organizer of the ministry in India, provided an accounting of the donations to the sponsors for the past calendar year, which was presented by Valery Tumkevich who summed up the results of the outgoing year. The festive evening was held in a hybrid form: online and offline. Tatyana Malinovskaya was able to join us from South Carolina, USA. Tatyana carries out the Good Hands ministry in America and is an employee of the Indian ministry who helps orphans and widows of India. She expressed her gratitude to the sponsors of Lithuania and shared her testimony. Also, the pastor of the church, Anatoly Dmitruk, shared a word of edification and encouragement. The worship team sang several psalms. The pastor of the church in Pabrade, Artur S., shared his testimony. Their church assists refugees who ended up on the territory of Lithuania. Gintare Kachkovska shared her testimony and sang a psalm with her daughter Melisa. Her family is raising a child who was taken from an orphanage at an early age. Andrey from Shervintai church invited the churches to look after the orphans in their infirmities and sorrows. Their family is raising three orphans. The guests of the sponsor’s evening were from different churches of Lithuania: Pabrade, Shervintai, Nemenchyne, and Lepkalne Str.

Financial service to the orphans of India started in Lithuania 5 years ago, in 2016th. In India, this ministry has been going on for 20 years. Hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world are involved in this ministry. By the aid of sponsors and those who help, wells with a clean source of water get opened, help is provided in closed leper camps, and about 6.5 thousand orphans are kept on complete provision in India. For one child, sponsors allocate 30 euros per month. This is not a large amount for Europe, it is impossible to live on this amount here, but it is a significant amount for India. The evening took place at tables in a cozy atmosphere and tea drinking. In conclusion, there was a prayer for the sponsors and staff of the Indian ministry.

Christmas Celebration 2021

On Sunday, December 26 of 2021 a solemn meeting in honor of Christmas was held in the Bible Way church . At the festive service, Tadas and the pastor of the church, Anatoly Dmitruk, shared the word. A Russian and Lithuanian Sunday group performed on the stage. Children sang psalms, recited poems and declamations. The youth, together with the worship group, sang a psalm. Marius Ponomarev called to a prayer. And to celebrate of Christmas, all the children received gifts at the end of that festive sermon.

The program included singing of the fraternal choir “Major” and children of the Russian Sunday school group. Natalia from Belarus, Olya Usene, brother from the rehabilitation center and sister Violeta shared their testimonies. Lydia shared an edifying poem about the birth of Jesus Christ. There was a question/answer quiz on the theme of Christmas. Brother Vasily and Yura shared a word. Also, psalms, verses and prayers had been brought throughout the night. The whole celebration was accompanied by a festive mood, refreshments and smiles. It was instructive, fun, and cozy and warm despite the frosty weather outside.

On Saturday – December 18, 2021, the “Bible Way” church celebrated Christmas. The gospel program included a theatre piece named “The Pilgrim Journey” based on the book by John Bunyan with minor adjustments. The book was adapted for stage and became the main part of the gospel program for guests who didn’t know God yet. The performance was produced by members of the “Bible Way” church. The cartoon “About the Birth of Jesus” telling a Bible story, and the children’s choir “Valio”, led by Gintare Kachkovska, were also included in the program. The festive Saturday program took place in two streams: at 11 am and at 5 pm since a lot of people came that day. At the end of the program, every child received a gift box called “Samaritan’s Purse”. About 250 gifts were handed out that day! A lot of people were involved in organization and holding of the gospel program, especially young people. Special thanks to the head of the Christmas program, Vilma Jarushavičienė, and to Kiastas Ermanas who organized gifts for the children. Many thanks to everyone who took part in the program, who carried out direct labor and who was involved in other various ministries, so that this holiday took place. May the Lord bless you all and may His name be glorified!
