The Greatest Journey – 2023

2023-05-04

The Bible Way Church closed The Greatest Journey training course for children. The Greatest Journey is a course for children which came into life after staging the Christmas Play. This is an evangelistic project where children get acquainted with the Bible and Christian stories.

The course consists of 12 lessons. Every week the children of the Russian and Lithuanian groups had a lesson. Six of them completed the program. Six Sunday school teachers were involved in this project. The Greatest Journey is over, but our adventures with Jesus continue! After completing the course, children can participate in the evangelistic choir “Valio”, attend Sunday school and visit a children’s Christian camp for the first time. The event was accompanied by games, relay races, knowledge tests and songs. As a result, on April 30, 2023, the children received their Diplomas of Course Completion, New Testaments as gifts, and invitations to the children’s projects of the Bible Way Church. The holiday ended with a large and delicious cake and treats. We wish great achievements to the children who have embarked on the right path!

Blessing of Children 2023

2023-04-27

Blessing of children took place at Bible Way Church on April 23, 2023. Two young couples and a single mother blessed their firstborns. The special thing about the event was that all the parents blessed their first and only child, which God gave them! Thanks to their first child who came into the world, they became parents (mothers and fathers). The Church makes an emphasis on the blessing of children because on this day newly-made parents make a vow before God and the church. This is a serious and, at the same time, blessed step for parents because they make a vow to the Lord to raise the baby in accordance with the word of God. We congratulate our young parents and may God’s blessings come upon you and your homes!

Easter 2023

2023-04-18

The whole world celebrates Easter: Catholics, Evangelists and Orthodox in their time. This holiday is recognized by everyone, regardless of denominations or beliefs. No one can be indifferent to the events that took place 2000 years ago, because no one can refute them. On the contrary, research is being carried out at various levels to learn more about it. Our “Bible Way” Church celebrated Easter, the feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, on April 9, 2023. The motto of the holiday was taken from the Holy Scripture: “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead…” (1 Cor.15:20).

The presbiter of the church, Marek Syrvida, shared a word about the resurrection of Christ. Deacon Zhilvinas shared a word of instruction. Sunday school children performed with psalms and poems on the theme of Easter. Guests expressed many greetings from other churches. The festive service continued with an informal part with refreshments and drinks, as well as pleasant fellowship. We thank everyone who made this holiday unforgettable: Sunday school teachers, children, cooks, youth and all those who contributed. May the Lord bless you!

Easter celebration for Children – 2023

2023-04-18

The children of the “Bible Way” Church celebrated Easter on April 8, 2023. This event had evangelistic character and, on the other hand, tested the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. A big game was held where the children traveled around Jerusalem at the time of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Those who knew the Scripture and answered the questions received extra points. The quiz was instructive and useful not only for the children of the church, but also for those invited to this event. The heroes of ancient events were dressed according to the old traditions of Judea and Rome. There was a shadow performance, describing the events of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, which took place 2000 years ago. Children answered questions, sang and actively participated in all tasks. At the end of the celebration, gifts were distributed to all the children who took part in the Easter celebration. Many thanks to all participants, organizers and the whole group who made this holiday instructive and unforgettable for the children. May the Lord bless you!
