Water Baptism – 2021

On July 3, 2021, seven people from the Bible Way Church were baptized in water at Tapelei Lake. For many of them the way to baptism was long and very difficult, but the Lord is alive, He carried a good deed through. This season, the last child in the pastor’s family, his son, Arthur Dmitruk was baptized. Water baptism is a holiday for those who are baptized as well as for the entire church. Thank God for the wonderful weather! There was an official service, baptism, and prayer for the baptized. After the official part, a large table was laid followed by games in nature and communication with the baptized people and the church. In conclusion, memorable photos were taken.

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38).

Youth Camp – 2021

A youth camp was held in the Bible Way church in the Ignalna region from the 24th to 27th of June. The camp is located on a lake shore surrounded by the verdured nature. It is located far from any city, where clean natural air dwells. These days in the camp, full of impressions and rich in the events, became unforgettable for the youth and young families. The church deacons, Arkady Ponomarev and Ruslan Yelezarov, gave a seminar on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Also, the youth glorified the Lord and shared the word at the meetings. There were young people from different churches like Lentvaris church, the church “Tura” and “Living stones”. These days in the camp, God has endowed with good weather. There was an opportunity to play football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and board games. Children rode down the rope. Also, on June 26, they celebrated the birthday of Simonas Ponomarev, who turned 11 on that day. In conclusion, on Saturday evening, a bathhouse, which is located on the shore of the lake, was heated. The joint communication of youth ended around the night fire, where everyone shared their impressions of the camp.

Funeral of Yuri Labutis

Yuri Labutis was laid to rest on Saturday, June 19 of 2021. His wife Vita remained a widow. Yuri was left with a son without a father. The grief happened in the large family of Cheslav Drazdas, Yuri was his son-in-law. We express our deepest condolences, first of all, to the family and all those close to him who lost a dear person. He was a member of the Bible Way Church. Whoever is willing, can support Vita’s family as this family was left without a breadwinner in the house. May the Lord bring you His comfort!

Funeral of Mikhalina Kreidina.

At the age of 81, our dear sister, Michalina Kreidina, went to the Lord. Her funeral took place on June 6, 2021, in Mitskunai village. We express our deep condolences to the family and friends of our dear sister. Mikhalina was an example of a zealous minister who loved people without exception, and a caring mother, sister and grandmother.

“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” (Rev. 14:13).

The day of Pentecost in the Bible Way Church – 2021.

On Sunday, May 23 of 2021, the Bible Way Church celebrated the day of PENTECOST. This holiday is celebrated after the Holy Spirit fell on the apostles on the fiftieth day after Jesus Christ was received up into heaven. For Christians, this is the great promise of the Lord, which has poured out onto the children of God to this day. Children, the church worship team, and the male choir “Major” appeared in the church on this festive day. The church leaders shared the word.

The first time when the Holy Spirit fell onto the disciples and Gods’ promises were fulfilled is written in the book of Acts 2:1-4.

Youth Conference – 2021

On Friday, May 15 of 2021, a youth conference was held at the Bible Way Church. The motto of the conference was: “… I have found a man after my heart” (Acts 13:22). Due to the pandemic and restrictions, the conference lasted only one day. Many leaders could not attend due to restrictions; for this reason the conference was held in two modes: offline and online. Thanks to modern computer technologyes, there was a live broadcast with leaders who taught the youth: Pastor Igor Azanov (Belarus), Bishop Viktor Altukhov (Latvia), Bishop Alexander Churbakov (Estonia), Artem Rusaev (Daugavpils). Also, with consideration of the quantitative limitation, some guests arrived to the youth conference from Pabrade, Riga, Lentvaris, Latvia, Ukraine, Klaipeda, and our Bishop Fedor Baer came from Kaunas. This was the first time when a youth conference was held in this format. We hope that next time we will be able to see many young people together glorifying the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mother’s Day 2021.05.02

Mother’s Day in Lithuania is celebrated on the first Sunday of May. A festive Sunday meeting dedicated to our dear mothers was held at the “Bible Way” church on May 2, 2021. The youth sang a beautiful song in honor of dear mothers. At the end of the festive meeting, the youth distributed flowers to all the mothers who attended this Sunday service. We congratulate all dear mothers on this wonderful spring day! Mother’s Day is associated with spring for a reason: during this time the nature begins to blossom out, and everything around is getting filled with new life. The Bible says: “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living” (Gen. 3:20).

Easter at the “Bible Way” Church – 2021

On Sunday, April 4 of 2021, at the “Bible Way” Church, as in many countries of the world, people celebrate the Easter of Jesus Christ. On this Easter day, the church of God commemorates the crucifixion and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Many leaders and great people raised and died, but glory and solemn praise has been given from generation to generation to Christ alone in honor of His birth and resurrection. And all because He was born, died and rose again for the sake of every person and for the sake of humanity in general, so that we could live on this earth and be free from our sins. He gives us life not only on the earth, but also in eternity, which could not be given by any leader or a great man. Glory to Him for the birth and resurrection given to us Christians who believe and praise His name and for the sake of those who will accept Him as a Savior of their hearts.

The engagement of David and Diana 03.07.2021

A joyful voice of the bride and groom sounded again in the Bible Way church. David Baranovsky proposed to Diana Khursina. David belongs to the Rising Light Church. Diana Khursina is from the Bible Way church. She is the youngest daughter of a family with seven children. Her father is the church deacon, Leonid Khursin and her mother is Valentina Khursina. Diana participates in a church worship team and used to be a Sunday school teacher.

The funeral of Roman Gursky 03.03.2021

On March 3 of 2021, Roman Gursky was laid to rest. He did not live to see his birthday and died at the age of 52. Roman died in a hospital at 2 a.m. on the 2nd of March. Not long before his death, he buried his loving mother. Thank God that before he left this world he was able to reconcile with his brother and people close to him. We express our special gratitude to Pastor Marek Syrvida and Marina Politikene, may the Lord reward them for their sacrifice! We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Roman Gursky. And we do not say goodbye to him because, according to the promise of God, we will meet in heaven.
