Baptism 2022

On July 2, 2022 the “Bible Way” church had water baptism on Tapelei lake. Eight souls entered into the covenant with the Lord. It pleases the heart that the guys from the rehabilitation center of Gennady and Tatiana were among the baptized. Also, two sons of the “Bible Way” church deacons entered into the covenant with the Lord. The pastors (Cheslav Makutonovich and Marek Syrvida) and brothers of the church shared the word for the baptized. Water baptism was carried out by the presbyter of the church, Marek Syrvida, and the deacon, Žilvinas Jablonskis. Since this is a holiday not only for those who are being baptized, but for the whole church, the holiday was followed with refreshments, fellowship and outdoor recreation. In conclusion, a prayer was offered and congratulations were expressed for the baptized. Bibles and certificates were presented as memorable gifts, as a memory of an important event in their lives.

The Scripture says: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved…” (Mark 16:16).

Irina Ivanichko is from Ukraine, Donetsk region. The daughter of a minister, a church deacon. Daniel, the Bible Way Church member is from a family of a church minister. Funeral of Janina Ališauskaitė

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, the funeral of Janina Ališauskaite took place. Yanina died at the age of 65 after a long illness. She was an fervent prayer. Yanina lived a lonely life, without a family. Sisters from the church supported her and visited her. The funeral was conducted by the Bible Way Church. We express our condolences to the relatives and friends of Yanina Alishauskaite.

Family Seminar for families 40+

On June 11, 2022, a family seminar for families 40+ was held at the Bible Way Church. The motto of the seminar was “… If the case of the man is so with his wife, it is not expedient to marry ” (Matt. 19:10). The speaker of the seminar was the pastor of the local church, Anatoly Dmitruk. The seminar was held in free environment with tea/coffee and refreshments. At the seminar there was a word of encouragement, advice, testimonies and, in conclusion, a prayer for offered each family separately. For those who attended the seminar, it was very useful and instructive, and many received encouragement and guidance.

The youth ministry leaders David Karchmit and Alexander Grushchenko decided to arrange a marathon on bicycles with a distance of 35 km. The bike tour took place on June 11, 2022. The purpose of the bike tour was to spend time with teenagers and young people in nature with pizza, lemonade and good communication. The bike tour was dedicated to the closing of the academic year and the opening of the summer season. This event was held for the first time in the Bible Way Church, but there is hope that it will be a good start for teenagers and youth and will become part of their tradition.

The evening was attended by two worship groups of the local church: a group led by Svetlana and a group “RW” by Ekaterina Mys. The “Evening of Praise and Worship” was opened by the pastor of the local church, Anatoly Dmitruk. Leszek Velkanets shared a word. The festive evening was attended by guests from the Living Stones Church and youth from Ukraine. At the end of the festive evening there was tea, refreshments and warm communication among musicians and youth.

The Bible Way Church celebrated Father’s Day on the first Sunday of June. This holiday in honor of fathers is celebrated throughout Lithuania. The motto of the holiday is from the Acts of St. Apostles “…but you will receive power” (Acts 1:8). When Jesus went to His Father, He left the promise of the Holy Spirit, the power of God coming in place of Him. In honor of this holiday, the church choir sang a hymn of praise. The deacon of the church, Žilvinas, shared the word. In conclusion, the pastor of the church, Anatoly Dmitruk, shared a message about “the Day of Pentecost, the descent of the Holy Spirit.” The festive service ended with a call and prayer for those who came forward.

The Baltic Youth Conference of 2022

The “Baltic Youth Conference” was held at the “Bible Way” church from May 13 to 15, 2022. The youth conference was attended by young people from Estonia (77 people), Latvia (74 people), Poland (18 people), Ireland (4 people), Norway (4 people), Ukraine (16 people), Sweden (3 people), Russia (1 person), Israel (3 persons), and by guests from other churches in Lithuania (115 people). The total number of guests at the conference made 315. Among Lithuanian churches we had guests from “Rising Light” Church, Lepkalne, Lentvaris, and Pabrade.

The motto of the conference was “And you shall receive power…” (Acts 1:8). The brothers shared the word and discipling for the youth.

Andrey Napalkov (youth leader, Vilnius) shared a word on the topic “Receive the power andshall be my witnesses”;

Dmitry Kryachkov (youth leader, Riga) spoke “On the Guidance of God”;

Fedor Baer (Bishop of Lithuania) shared a word on the topic “And receive the power”;

David Skrypnik (Youth Leader of Lentvaris) shared a word on the topic “The Holiness of Our Ministry”;

Victor Altukhov (Bishop of Latvia) shared a word on the topic “God’s power possesses Christians”;

Alexander Churbakov (Bishop of Estonia) spoke about “Gifts of the Holy Spirit”;

Aleko Gvenetadze (deacon of the “Revelation” church, Riga) shared a word on the topic “Reasons for the quenching of the Holy Spirit”;

Anatoly Dmitruk (senior pastor of the “Bible Way” church in Vilnius), shared a word on the topic “Baptism in the Holy Spirit”. As a result, a sister, who came out to pray, received the Holy Spirit.

Alexander Skrypnik (Bishop of Kaliningrad) shared a word on the topic “What hinders the power of God in us?”

The youth also shared poems, psalms and testimonies.

At the conference there were frequent calls to prayer, it should be noted that they were very hot and loud. In these difficult days, young people are looking for the face of God with great thirst. There was a word from God through vessels, there were visions and teaching through prophecies. At the end of the conference there were answers to questions, conversations and prayers.
