Birthday of Presbyter Marek Syrvyda – 2023

The “Bible Way” Church congratulated the dear presbyter of the church, Marek Syrvida! In honor of the presbyter’s birthday, the youth sang his favorite psalm. At the end they presented a bouquet of flowers. The senior pastor of the church, Anatoly Dmitruk, said words of encouragement/gratitude and the church offered a prayer. We are glad that the Lord sends such mentors! May the Lord provide everything necessary so that Marek Syrvida can serve in the Church of God for a long time!

Seminar for mothers 2023

A seminar for mothers was held at the Bible Way church on September 9, 2023.

The theme of the seminar is “God’s plan for your child.” A passage was taken from the scripture: “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.” (Luke 2:40).

Expanded translation (Proverbs 22:6).

“Teach, train, prepare the child which way to walk in accordance with his individual talent or inclinations, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

The program included discussions and reasoning with mothers over a cup of tea/coffee, evidences from life experience. Finally, there was a prayer for mothers and their needs. We thank the speaker and organizer of the seminar, Marina Khatkevich, who cares and prays for the women of the church.

Blessing of schoolchildren and teachers for the 2023-2024 school year

At the beginning of the school year, a prayer was held at the Bible Way Church for schoolchildren, students and Sunday/secular school teachers. The blessing of schoolchildren took place on September 3, 2023. Sunday school at our Church has 8 classes, which are divided by age and language. In honor of “September 1,” children from different Sunday school classes made a festive program. Together with parents and musicians, they sang psalms and recited poems. In conclusion, the Sunday school teachers were waiting for the children in each class with prepared treats and wishes and encouragement. We congratulate everyone on the opening of the academic year and wish you success in the new academic year!

Seminar by A. Kolesnikov – 2023

On September 2, 2023, a seminar dedicated to theology was held at the “Bible Way” church. As a matter of fact, it opened the doors to the new school year. The theme of the seminar was “Metaphors of Isaiah the Prophet”. The Seminar speaker (Master of Theology) A. Kolesnikov came from England. The lecture described the prophetic poetry from the time of Isaiah to the birth of Christ. It also defined its influence on modern Christians today. The seminar lasted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Learning more about what Scripture says on this subject was very homiletical and helpful. There was also tea/coffee and open communication over a delicious lunch. We are grateful to the operators, chefs, Alexey and everyone who participated to make this seminar a success!

Evangelistic trip of the “Valio” choir and the Rehabilitation Center to Anyksciai

Two groups from the “Bible way” church went on an evangelical trip to Anyksciai on July 8, 2023. One group was the children’s choir “Valio” directed by Gintare Kachkovska. The second group was made of the guys from the Rehabilitation Center (of Gennady and Tatyana). In total, quite a few children and adults (including parents) gathered to share psalms and testimonies of God’s love and His miracles. A very rich program was organized for children: a zoo, trampolines, swings, a lake, a picnic, etc. The children’s choir “Valio” has a rather busy schedule of various trips in the Summer. The mission of the children’s choir “Valio” is to carry the Word of God for unbelievers through music, songs and testimonies. We are grateful to Gintare Kachkovska, the founder of the children’s choir “Valio”, who has been serving with the children from the “Bible Way” church for many years. Everyone had many impressions and positive emotions, and, most importantly, people heard the Word of God!

Engagement of Donatas and Onutė 2023

The voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride sounded again in the Bible Way Church! Donatas Dabrauskas made an offer to Onutė Drazdaitė! Donatas recently became a member of the local church. Onutė comes from a believing family and has been a member of the local church for many years. We wish our new couple blessings from the Lord in organization of everything.

Water baptism 2023

Water baptism took place in the Bible Way Church. 7 people entered into a covenant with the Lord! Granddaughter of the senior pastor of the church, Anatoly Dmitruk, was among them. On this day, the church arranged a holiday, as this is an important event for the church. The Scripture says: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Rom. 6:4). We congratulate all who have enter upon the new path of life following Christ! May the Lord bless you in all stages of life so that you keep footing!

Wedding of Andrzej and Nadezhda – 2023

The wedding of Anzej Klyuenkov and Nadezhda Chizh took place in the “Bible Way” church! The young people got married on June 17, 2023. Anzej Klyuenkov is a member of the Bible Way Church. Nadezhda is from the Living Word Church, Kobrin, Belarus. Nadezhda is a daughter of the head bishop of Belarus, Mikhail Chizh and Elena Chizh. We wish young people a long and happy life! May the Lord bless and help you in everything!

Wedding of Leonid and Victoria – 2023

The wedding took place at the Bible Way Church on June 10, 2023!
Members of the Bible Way Church Leonid Tokranov and Victoria Goronna got married. Victoria came from Ukraine. We congratulate our newlyweds and wish them happiness, love and prosperity in their family life!

Sunday School Completion 2023

The Sunday School has ended at the Bible Way Church on June 4, 2023. The church Sunday School includes 6 classes: 3 Russian and 3 Lithuanian, and 80 children in total. Sunday school director, Alexander Grushchenko is responsible for the educational part of the church. Six children completed their studies in the middle aged Russian group and moved into the teenage class. Also, the children of the teenage class have completed their studies and moved on to youth. Congratulations to everyone who has successfully completed their Sunday School and Teenage School! Special thanks to the Sunday school teachers who have worked all year to bring the truth of the Word of God to the children! Also, thanks to the Youth Ministry Leader, David Karchmit and his team, for their work with the youth of the church!
