Baltic Youth Conference in Riga 2024

The Baltic Youth Conference was held in Riga, Latvia on October 18-20, 2024. The conference was held in the Revelation church of our brotherhood. The youth of the Bible Way church (together with the leader Andrey) attended the conference. The motto of the conference was 1Tim 6:19: “In this way they will save up a treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the future and so lay hold of what is truly life.” There were many guests from different countries, both ministers and youth. The program included a word of instruction, participation of youth from different countries in psalms and recitation, counseling conversations, prayer and joint fellowship with each other. We thank the brothers and sisters of the Revelation church for their hospitality, refreshments and a dwelling in the wonderful teaching and instruction of the Lord!

Funeral of Galina Zavadovskaya 2024

Galina Zavadovskaya passed away at the age of 89. The funeral took place on October 17, 2024. Galina has been in the church since 1978 (46 years!) She attended the local community with her husband and little son Jan from the very beginning. In 1996, Vaclav (husband) passed away. The whole family attended the local church “Bible Way”. Galina was a prayer warrior in the church. As a person, she was merciful, open and very kind. Her son Jan compares her to Mother Teresa. Her son showed a lot of care and attention to her (this was testified to by relatives and friends at the funeral). We will remember our sister Galina with great warmth!

Praise and Worship Evening 2024

The Bible Way Church held a Praise and Worship Evening on October 12, 2024. Three worship teams came together to praise God’s name with one accord. Throughout the service, those present sang psalms and offered prayers for the musicians and for each other. The vessels served in prayer for almost everyone present. There was unity in music and praise. Everyone together praised the Lord Jesus Christ with one accord! At the end of the musical evening, during the buffet, guests and all present were able to enjoy hot tea and fellowship. We thank the organizer of the musical evening Katya Mys, the musicians and the worship teams, as well as everyone who worked hard to make this evening happen!

Harvest 2024

The Bible Way Church celebrated the Harvest on October 6, 2024. On this Thanksgiving Day, the hall was decorated in a special way. People brought their fruits and vegetables to share with their neighbors. In honor of this holiday, all Sunday school groups (Russian and Lithuanian) performed with the program that included children’s recitations and psalms by the smallest and older groups. The worship teams united to glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. At the end, there was a word of instruction from the senior pastor of the church, Marek Sýrvyda. The topic of the sermon was “The principles of sowing and reaping.” “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Gal. 6:7). The missionary, Zita, gave a speech of thanks. At the end, those present were treated to snacks and drinks while having nice fellowship. We thank everyone who worked to make the Harvest Festival happen! May the Lord bless you all!

Engagement of Richard and Asta Kazlauskiene 2024

The Bible Way Church once again heard the voice of the bride and groom! The joyful event took place on Thanksgiving Day on October 6, 2024. Richard Bilings proposed to Asta Kazlauskiene. Richard is from Reading, London. He attends a local church there. Asta is a member of the Bible Way Church. She works very hard as a translator in the local church. We wish happiness to this couple and may the Lord bless their preparation and further path of life together!

Engagement of Pavel and Valentina 2024

At the Bible Way Church, the voice of the bride and groom was finally heard again on September 29, 2024. Pavel Svoboda proposed to Valentina Oleshkyavichute. Pavel recently became a member of the local church. Valentina was born in the Christian family of Edik and Ira. We wish the young people God’s blessing in all their ways, so that the work determined by the Lord will be accomplished!

Marek Syrvida’s Birthday 2024

The Bible Way Church solemnly congratulated the senior pastor of the church, Marek Syrvida. Marek was born on September 5th. In honor of his birthday, the youth said parting wishes and sang the pastor’s favorite psalm. Pastor Anatoly and the entire church prayed for Marek and presented him with flowers at the end. We wish our dear pastor many years of service to God and His people!

Seminar for Sunday School Teachers – 2024

A seminar for Sunday school teachers was held at the Bible Way Church on September 7, 2024. The speakers of the seminar, Oksana and Evgeny Eisler, were invited from Germany.
Evgeny is a pastor at the EFCG church in Germany. He has 3 higher educations (2 of which are at a Theological College).
Oksana has 3 higher educations (2 of which are pedagogical). Oksana also has over 20 years of experience working with children in both secular and Christian schools. Her life is dedicated to teaching children at school. The seminar was attended by Sunday school teachers from various churches in Vilnius. The seminar was divided into two parts. The first part had 5 topics, the second – 7 topics.
The program included discussions, answers to questions, practical tasks and problem solving. Those present were very pleased to gain professional experience and the necessary advice. We also thank our young chef Veniamin and his team for a delicious and nutritious lunch! May the Lord bless everyone who made his contribution into making seminar a success! We hope to see our dear guests from Germany, Evgeniy and Oksana, again!

Blessing of schoolchildren, students and teachers – 2024

A blessing of children for the new 2024-2025 academic year was held at the Bible Way Church. Every year the church blesses:
students of all grades,
teachers of secular schools,
teachers of the Christian school.
The opening of the Sunday school and the academic year took place on September 1, 2024. We congratulate everyone on the new school year and wish everyone success!

Blessing of Children – 2024

A blessing of children was held at the Bible Way Church on August 18, 2024. Two young couples expressed a desire to bless their children according to the teaching of the Lord. The blessing of children was conducted by the pastor of the church, Anatoly Dmitruk. Dima and Zhivilya blessed their daughter Noema. The family came from Norway, but they are our church members who are temporarily living there.
Also, Vasily and Alena blessed Anna-Maria. This is the third child in the family. The family is from Ukraine, currently living in Lithuania. We congratulate the young families! The Lord blesses young families with children. Let the children grow up to the joy of their parents and be a blessing to the church!
