Missionary trip of the children’s choir Valio-2024

The Bible Way Church organized a missionary trip with the children’s choir Valio from August 11 to 18, 2024. The trip was attended by the choir director, Gintare Kachkovskaya, assistant Monika, musicians and mentors. The trip lasted 8 days and visited three cities in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
2024-08-11 KAUNAS
The choir Valio visited Kaunas, where they held an event for children and families on the Independence of Chechnya square. The event was organized by the Rock of Salvation church. The program included songs by the children’s choir Valio, street games, and stories from the Holy Scriptures. As a result, the listeners were given 50 copies of the children’s magazine Vakaro žvaigždelė.
08.12. ANYKSČIAI.
An interactive event for children and their families was held in the library and on the Vyskupo square in Anyksčiai. The choir Valio and Christian families from Anyksčiai took part in it. The program included an interactive story Special Promise, outdoor playgrounds, prizes/surprises.
08.13. ROKIŠKIS.
A similar event took place the next day in Rokiškis, in the L. Šepkos park. The municipality of Rokiškis provided great assistance in organizing the event.
In the Anyksčiai district, the choir Valio visited the Christian family event Mary’s Hut. The program included tasting various cheeses with apple cheese and fruits, children drew chewing pictures, looked for treasures, played, sang, cooked hamburgers.
The children also attended the event (Chocolate Painting) at the Salų Manor. Children had the opportunity to bring back a large bar of chocolate painting from the trip.
In total, about 170 children from three cities in Lithuania attended the evangelization (not counting their parents, grandparents and guardians).
08.14. The children’s choir visited the Valio camp in Estonia, at the Mikitamäe school.
08.15. The Valio children’s choir of Lithuania and Estonia united and sang in the church, which is located in the village of Selise, Estonia.
08.16. The children’s choir held an evangelization in a nursing home in Estonia.
08.17 Children’s choir Valio sang in the city of Võru on the city square.
08.18 Children’s choir Valio served at the morning service in the church Draudze Uzvara in Jēkabpils, Latvia.

Water baptism 2024

Water baptism took place in the Bible Way Church on Lake Tapelai on July 6, 2024. Anna Nerya and Pavel Svoboda were baptized by the deacon of the church, Ruslan Elezarov.
Anna came to Lithuania from Ukraine, Odessa region, with her family. Pavel has always been ours, from Lithuania.
This event is a holiday for all the church members! A very large number of brothers and sisters came to support and congratulate Pavel and Anna on their wise decision. The program included psalms, baptism, prayers and congratulations to those being baptized. Also, a rich table was set in the open with treats, followed by some games in nature and wonderful conversations with brothers and sisters.
Those baptized were accepted into the church membership on July 14. Everyone with one voice agreed about them! We congratulate our young church members and wish to join the local church in work and serve our Lord Jesus Christ!

Blessing of Vladimir and Natasha Melnikov 2024

The blessing of the marriage of Vladimir and Natalia Melnikov took place at the “Bible Way” church on June 30, 2024. This is an international couple. Vladimir is from Ukraine, and Natalya is from Belarus. The church’s senior pastor, Marek Syrvida, blessed the couple. In honor of this event, the entire church was invited to a buffet! We congratulate Vladimir and Natalia and wish them many years of marriage! May the Lord bless and help you in everything!

Youth camp 2024

From June 14 to 16, a youth camp was held in the “Bible Way” church in the Ignalina region. The camp program included a seminar, meetings, prayers, and personal conversations with ministers. The speaker of the seminar was Lucian Statnik the pastor of the church from Brussels, Belgium. The motto of the seminar was “ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”
The slogan of the seminar is taken from the Holy Scripture (Jeremaih 29:11). Lucian (church pastor from Belgium), David Skrypnik (youth leader), and Arkady Ponomarev (children’s camp director) shared a word, and the sister recited a poem.
The youth came from different churches in Lithuania: “Bible Way” church and Lepkalne str, Vilnius; Lentvaris, Kaunas and Visaginas.
Also, the program included sports games, board games, a large bonfire and a sauna. The youth had a very good time on the shore of the lake, surrounded by beautiful nature. We thank the cooks who cooked deliciously and fed the camp participants abundantly!

Funeral of Glikeria Semenkova 2024

On June 3, 2024, our sister in the Lord, Glikeria Semenkova passed away at the age of 88. The funeral took place on June 4. The sister was a woman of prayer, worked very hard, and always poured out God’s love. She was a very kind-hearted person, with a very bright and contrite spirit! She will always live in our hearts as a good example in Christ Jesus! It must be said that almost her entire family is familiar with the Lord and the church. Many of them continue to serve the Lord and attend church. We express our condolences to all relatives and friends, especially her daughter Vera and Vladimir.

Funeral of Vera Odaryuk 2024

Our sister in the Lord, Vera Odaryuk, died on June 2, 2024. She died when she was 99 years and 9 months old. On August 27, 2024 she would have turned 100 years old! The funeral took place on June 3, 2024. Vera is the mother of Olya Evtukhova and the grandmother of Katya and Nastya. We express our condolences to all relatives and friends. May the Lord comfort and strengthen you.

Father’s Day – 2024

In Lithuania, June 2 was celebrated as Father’s Day. This holiday was created not so long ago in support of the traditional family, support fathers and improve the status of fatherhood in families. In our church, this is also a significant holiday in support of fathers who provide for large families. In honor of the holiday, a poem was read for fathers, the youth prepared congratulatory surprises with words of encouragement from the Holy Scriptures. We congratulate all our brothers, husbands and fathers who work and care for their families! Also, they do a lot of work in the church so that families are spiritual and healthy. May the Lord bless you, give you strength, patience and love!

Sunday School Graduation 2024

At the beginning of summer, on June 2, 2024, the Bible Way Church announced the end of the Sunday school. There are 7 groups in the church: 4 Russian groups and 3 Lithuanian groups.
There are about 30 teachers and mentors, and about 100 children in Sunday school of our Church.
The teachers organized treats and programs for students in their groups to mark the end of the school year. We thank the school director Alexander Grushchenko for the organization and responsibility! Also, a special thanks to the teachers and mentors who shared their knowledge and skills with the children! Anyone who would like to work with children for the summer, please contact the Sunday school director, Alexander. We wish everyone to have a good holiday and to return to the new school year with new strength and new ideas!

Family seminar 2024

A family seminar was held at the Bible Way church from June 1 to June 2, 2024. The theme of the seminar was “Harmonious family – dream or reality?” The leader of the seminar was the pastor of the Bethel Church from Brest, Belarus. Alexander Savchuk has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and has 15 years of experience in pastoral counseling.
A counseling conversation took place with singles and widows on June 5, 2024. There were also personal conversations and prayers for individual church families.
The topics of the seminar were divided into stages:
1. The need of spouses for a family;
2. Strategy for harmonious relationships in the family;
3. What is the state of divorce and the prerequisites for it?
In order for parents to be able to comfortably attend the family seminar, the youth of the church came up with a program for children. To make sure the children had a great time, the mentors and organizers of the event held sports games on the site near the church, rented a huge bouncy house, and prepared cotton candy, which greatly delighted the children.
Also, a delicious lunch was prepared for everyone by the youth under the patronage of our chef, Veniamin Shnitkov.
We thank all the organizers of this event! Also, special thanks to our esteemed guest, Alexander Savchuk and his wife! The seminar was one of the best in the history of our church! IT was very edifying and helpful to everyone! Also, thanks to the operators who organized the online broadcast and recording of the seminar so that it was available to everyone. Pentecost 2024

The “Bible Way” church held the “Pentecost” holiday at 10:00, May 19, 2024. This is a very important holiday for the church, when the descent of the Holy Spirit to earth is celebrated. The scripture says: “ But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. ” (Acts 1:8). The Church of Jesus Christ was born the day when the Holy Spirit descended on earth, as was promised by God! The youth from the local church sang during the morning holiday program. The pastor of the church, Czeslaw shared his testimony. Brother Daniel shared a word of instruction. While praying for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, several young brothers experienced baptism.

In continuation of the holiday, the churches of Lithuania from the cities of Lentvaris, Kaunas, Vilnius and st. Lepkalne united at the evening service. To glorify the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, a choir was united from four churches of Lithuania under the direction of David Skrypnik. The Bishop of Lithuania, Fedor B., shared a word of instruction. Pastor Anatoly D. gave a sermon on the baptism in the Holy Spirit and while praying for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, several young brothers experienced baptism. The older brothers also shared words of instruction: Marek S., and Kazimir B. At the conclusion of the ceremonial part there was tea/coffee and pleasant communication with brothers and sisters.
