Harvest 2020

On Sunday, September the 27th, Harvest was celebrated in the Bible Way church. The motto of the feast was “In everything give thanks” (1 Thess. 5:18). On this day, the church gives thanks to the Lord for the blessed harvest, nice weather and bread on tables. God’s goodness is recalled and glory is given to the Lord for all His blessings! This day is full of joy, fellowship and eats and drinks.

Boris Shutov, a bishop from Estonia, visited us for this holiday. He shared God’s word, guidance and extended greetings from the Estonian church.

“For everything created by God is good, and nothing is rejected, if it is received with gratitude,” (1 Tim. 4: 4).

The voice of the bridegroom and bride! 09/20/2020

A joyful voice of the bride and groom sounded again in the Bible Way church. On Sunday, September 20th, brother Dovydas Yarushevichus made an offer to Julia Khatkevich. From the bottom of our hearts we congratulate the young couple with such an important decision in their life! God bless and make arrangements with every detail!

The funeral of Veronica Gurskaya

Our dear sister, Veronika Gurskaya, died at the age of 84. The funeral took place on September 19, 2020 in Nemencine where Veronica was from. The Bible Way Church expresses sincere condolences to her family and friends, especially to our brother, Roman Gursky. Let not the hearts of the righteous grieve, because their hope is in the Lord!

Funeral of Galina Dasyukevich.

The Bible Way Church participated in the funeral of our dear sister, Galina Dasyukevich. Galina passed away on September 14, 2020 after an extended illness. The funeral took place on September 16, in her native village Buyvidiskes.
Sister Galina left a bright mark in the memory of people. She won hearts and had a gentle and silent spirit. May the Lord look on the good works she did while living on earth! We express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of our sister Galina..

Funeral of Nadezhda Stepankevichene.

Our sister Nadezhda Stepankevichene’s funeral of took place on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Nadezhda died at the age of 83. The Biblical Way Church expresses sincere condolences to her relatives and friends.

Theological College

On Saturday, September 12, 2020 the Theological College had the grand opening. The first seminar took place in the Bible Way church. The seminar was led by the pastor of the church Anatoly Dmitruk. The opening ceremony was attended by the teachers of the College: Bishop Boris Filon, pastor of the Atsinaujinimas church Nikolay Tkachuk and pastor of the Bible Way church Anatoly Dmitruk. The theme of the Seminar was the Epistle to the Corinthians, parts 1&2. The seminar was attended by the students of the Theological College as well as by the church members who desire to study the Holy Scriptures.

Oleg & Loreta’s wedding!

The voices of the groom and bride sounded again in the Bible Way church on a bright Sunday morning. Walking towards the groom, Oleg Shnitkov, Loreta Dmitruk appeared in front of the church in a splendid wedding dress. The marriage ceremony of the young couple and the wedding feast took place on September 6, 2020. On this memorable and festive day, relatives, the nearest and dearest came to congratulate the newly married couple. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish the young marrieds God’s blessings during their future journey.

Blessing for the new school year.

During the last August Sunday the “Bible Way” church blessed all schoolchildren, students, teachers of educational institutions and those serving in the church Sunday school. This ministry is taken with particular seriousness and such blessings of schoolchildren and teachers for the coming academic year take place every year. Let the Lord bless everyone who starts the school year in 2020, especially the first graders who are embarking on a new academic path for the first time!

Children’s Christian Camp – 2020

“The Bible Way” church camp was arranged for children in the Ignalina region from the 3rd to 9th of August 3-9. The camp is located on the shore of a lake in the midst of the beautiful nature.

The camp motto was: “Not small for big things!”

Camp theme was: “Mission Possible!”

The motto of the camp was supported by the Scripture, the Gospel of Matthew: “And Jesus looking upon (them) said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Matt. 19:26).

In total, there were 50 children, and 25 mentors in the camp

The camp coordinators were: Yulia Kh. And Ruta U. Camp director – Arkady Ponomarev.

During the camp the children had morning exercises, reflection games, swimming, various study groups, sports games, Bible learning, prayer meetings, worship time, relay races between teams and, of course, prizes. The Lord blessed with nice weather and good organization. The children were very happy with the camp. It was very sad to leave; the children did not want this wonderful time to end. They all left for their homes but this bright memory of the Christian camp 2020 would remain with them.

Youth conference in Narva – 2020

The youth of the “Bible Way” church attended the annual international youth conference in Narva, Estonia. The conference was held at the Emmanuel Church from the 7th through 9th of August, 2020. The motto of the conference was: “Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart” (Psalm 73: 1). The conference was aimed at encouraging young people from different countries to keep faith in Jesus Christ and teaching them biblical truths. The sermons of the elder brothers, fellowship of young people and spiritual guidance served the mutual enrichment for all those presented at the conference. Many thanks to everyone for hosting, spiritual guidance and encouragement!
