Christmas workshops 2023

In anticipation of the big Christmas holidays, “Christmas workshops” were organized at the “Bible Way” church on November 18, 2023. The organizer of the event is the head of the women’s ministry, Marina Khatkevich. Eight masters prepared materials for various kinds of handicrafts, so the children were given the opportunity to show their creativity. As a result, each master was given a symbolic gift. At the end of the event, a delicious lunch awaited the children. All participants were satisfied with their handmade Christmas souvenirs! Their parents showed great help to the children! We thank everyone: the organizers, the masters, the hostesses, and of all the participants! It seems like “Christmas workshops” will become a good tradition in our church!

Blessing of Children 2023

A blessing of children took place at the Bible Way Church on October 15, 2023. Four families decided to dedicate their children to the Lord. The good tradition of the church has its source in the Holy Scriptures, when Jesus Himself blessed children. As it is written in the Gospel of Mark: “…allow the little children to come to Me and do not hinder them, for to such is the kingdom of God (Mark 10:14). “And He took them up in His arms, put His hands upon them, and blessed them. (Mark 10:16). The purpose of the sacred rite is that parents make a vow to raise and instruct their children according to the word of God. This event is such important for families that family members up to the third generation present on such occasions. At the conclusion, each family was given a gift and flowers.

A blessing of children took place at the Bible Way Church on October 15, 2023. Four families decided to dedicate their children to the Lord. The “Harvest” holiday took place at the “Bible Way” church on October 1, 2023. Many evangelical churches celebrated Thanksgiving that Sunday. The tradition of the holiday is taken from the Holy Scriptures. The theme of the holiday was taken from the Bible: “In everything give thanks…” (1 Thess. 5:18). Bishop Fyodor Baer visited the church along with guests from Kaliningrad. Russian and Lithuanian groups of the Sunday School children performed psalms and recitations. Our children’s choir “Valio” performed as well. Paulina sang a psalm on the theme of the holiday. Also, the group “Silver” led by Maya participated in the program. Brother Alexander from Kaliningrad and brother Algis shared words of instruction. The Bishop Fyodor Baer concluded the official part of the sermon. In the informal part there were refreshments and pleasant conversation.
